Did Friday and Paladin die in VisionQuest Episode 7 ending?

VisionQuest episode 7, titled “Immolation,” ended with a cliffhanger that left the fates of Friday (Orla Brady) and Paladin (Todd Stashwick) uncertain.

Ultron appeared to take out both characters in quick succession during the episode’s final moments. The show has not confirmed whether either character actually died, with the season finale set to air on November 10.

The speed of both characters’ apparent exits stunned audiences. However, some fans believe the show may be setting up a misdirection. One viewer theorized that Ultron may have only expelled Friday from Jocasta’s mind rather than destroying her. They argued the show would not rush Friday’s death, given how much attention J.A.R.V.I.S.’s earlier death received.
