Iran has rejected allegations that it was behind an alleged plot targeting the RAF Fairford airbase in the United Kingdom. The Iranian Embassy in London, in a statement issued on Monday, described claims linking Tehran to the incident as “fabricated speculations”, according to Al Jazeera. The denial came after British authorities arrested five nationals near the airbase, which hosts United States military aircraft involved in strikes against Iran amid the ongoing conflict between Washington and Tehran. The five suspects were arrested on Sunday morning on suspicion of the “preparation of a terrorist act”. Source: https://dailypost.ng/2026/09/29/iran-denies-link-to-alleged-plot-targeting-uk-airbase/
