The Jigawa State Government has attributed the delay in the release of National Examinations Council (NECO) results for students in public secondary schools to a failed bank transaction involving payment to the examination body. State Commissioner for Higher Education, Prof. Isa Chamo, disclosed this while reacting to the delay in releasing the NECO results. He explained that the delay was caused by a banking problem that affected the payment made by the state government to NECO. According to him, โ€œthe result delay is as a result of failed bank transfer, funds paid to NECO were returned due to a bank transaction problemโ€โ€ฆ Source: https://dailypost.ng/2026/09/29/jigawa-govt-blames-failed-bank-transfer-for-delay-in-neco-results/
